BRICKLAYER

BRICKLAYER operates where convergence fails and convenience mutinies. Their debut LP Form Over Function : Flesh Over Form is a two-part disintegration of post punk, industrial, jazz, noise and dub that blends into one hell of a cohesive sub-genre. With all six members scattered across the globe, this is truly a unique project where individual creativity reigns supreme and collective rupture finds its rhythm in dislocation. Bricklayer has perfected the new music model.

JIM PERKINS

HEATHER GARNISH

SCHLÜSSELCHRIST is an apocalyptic fusion of doom, hardcore punk, and esoteric conspiracy — a band, a doctrine, a weapon. Hailing from Düsseldorf, Germany, the band conjures a ritualistic heaviness with a scorched aesthetic drawn from black metal, noise rock, and broken machine logic. Their albums are a heretical liturgy spanning forbidden history, economic sorcery, and digital messianism, with each track paired to a black papal edict. Think less devil, more historian metal.

FLUX HOUND

FLUX HOUND is what happens when a bunch of suburban kids grow up together playing in punk and metal bands, only to form a jazz quintet decades later. The sextet drag the secrets of clandestine life into sound. Whether it’s a concept album about the sound heroin might make whirring through the veins, soundtracking the life cycle of a plant in the desert, or a broken man in his final stages of decay, the undertones of these burning dirges are exhilarating.

TRUCK STOP HOOKERS

WIRE DOLL is reductionist. The songs are cut short, snapped shut, and spat back with no decoration. This band aren’t chasing nostalgia or punk revival, they just aim to be as immediate, uncomfortable, and present as is musically possible. Meeting in the juicy part of the Venn diagram where no wave swallows post punk, Wire Doll understand that it’s often the space between the notes that sets the mood, leaving nothing behind but the pulse ringing in your earholes.
